Athens Area Habitat for Humanity operates the ReStore thrift store, which takes in new and used home furnishings and sells them to those in need for up to 90 percent off the retail cost.
Through a partnership with the Athens Community Council on Aging, Habitat now is able to refurbish furniture and can accept a larger variety of items and improve the condition of many items to increase their chance of sale. All funds raised support Athens Area Habitat for Humanity.
The ReStore is located at 532 Barber St., Athens, and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
